IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Season 3, Episode 4.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: For a man who can't see what he looks like, Matt is generally vain enough to have a put together appearance. His hair (dark brown) is always brushed and easily styled, and he wears stubble in a not-quite-beard that's also quite well kept at all times. His eyes are hazel, but are often hidden behind his circular, tinted glasses. He's reasonably muscular, with a broad chest and defined arms, but lean enough to maintain his ninja activities. He dresses like the young professional he is, often wearing suits, well tailored coats, things of good quality. In the privacy of his rooms, he prefers sweatpants and hoodies. Underneath his clothes are a variety of scars, from intense looking ones to just wear-and-tear, mostly peppered over his torso. Along with liking to maintain a good appearance, Matt also likes to maintain good hygiene. He doesn't use soaps or shampoos with strong scents, so he just smells Clean. •DEMEANOR: Generally, Matt's a likeable guy. He's charming without needing to try, and that's likely because he comes off as harmless due to his blindness. He likes to smile and crack jokes, especially ones at his own expense. Like everyone, he can have his nuances, and it's not uncommon for him to fall into a more reserved slump where he avoids things. In Daredevil-mode he leans towards impulsive and reckless behaviour. When he's feeling out of his depth, he'll put his hands on his hips and adopt a "power stance" as he tries to regain some control of the situation. Other physical tics of his include passing his tongue over his lips, and frequently tipping his head slightly to the side as if he's trying to hear something better.
•ABILITIES: Matt's trained many years to be in peak physical condition. Not only is he an excellent boxer, he can also perform feats of parkour, and even do all that fun ninja stuff (flipping, spinning before kicking, etc.). This is all just inherent physical ability that can't be nerfed. However, what has been nerfed are Matt's hypersensitive senses. For example, usually he can taste particles of blood in the air, smell the difference in meats from across a restaurant, and his touch is sensitive enough that he can feel letters printed in books, or lines printed on blueprints. Combined, it's enough to allow him to convincingly play a man with sight, but also it helps him be a superhero.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Matt's body likely shows signs of past physical trauma. He's had broken bones, concussions, and been moments from bleeding out on countless occasions. And he doesn't go to hospitals, so the healing might be wonky. He also pushes his body to its breaking point. Frequently.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Matt's door is grey, industrial, and not the most welcoming of doors. Inside isn't much better. Matt's bedroom looks like it might be from an old warehouse that was converted into "aesthetic" living spaces, with exposed brick and floors that look as well-maintained as his door. It's sparsely furnished, with a plain nightstand, a stand-alone wardrobe, a dresser, and a small armchair.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Generally, the only thing that really offends Matt is when people are being rude or abusive regarding others.
